My name is Colin Weed, and I’m a 22-year-old from Scarborough, ME, where I grew up in a family of seven. As the oldest of five siblings, including two triplet brothers, I’ve always embraced responsibility and leadership.
I’m currently attending the University of Maine in Orono for my fifth year of college. I’ve completed my Bachelor’s degree with a major in New Media and a minor in Marketing. When I first visited the University of Maine, I was introduced to the New Media program, which was relatively new at the time. I immediately knew this was the right path for me. I have always enjoyed video editing, photography, exploring new technologies, and bringing my ideas to life. The addition of Marketing to my studies allowed me to apply my New Media skills in diverse and impactful ways.
Since finishing my undergraduate degree, I decided to pursue a certificate program in Analytics. With only one class remaining, I am close to completing this program. I chose Analytics because I am deeply interested in statistical tracking and wanted to expand my knowledge and expertise in this field. This program has allowed me to gain valuable insights and experience in the world of Analytics.
